Shay and Josh's day was colour, from the first hour to the last. Set against the European-inspired backdrop of The Sienna in the Hunter Valley, it was intimate in size and enormous in feeling, a day steeped in culture and built around bringing two families, and everything they carry, into the same room.

There were the still moments: the glances between Shay and Josh before either family had arrived, the pause before a traditional dance that belonged to no one else's wedding but theirs. And there was the joy that came after it: two families dancing together, a room that had spent all day becoming one.
That dance is the moment I keep coming back to. It wasn't on any run sheet. It wasn't for the camera. It was two cultures, carried by two families, choosing to meet each other halfway on the dance floor. I don't think I'll shoot a more felt few minutes all year.

She went above and beyond in all aspects, great suggestions with timeline changes, worked in seamlessly with our other vendors (we did not have a coordinator), great taking charge of the groom (who hates photos).
